Latest ProjectsI recently worked on a very cool Flash project for Truman State University’s new website redesign. They wanted to have a photo slideshow on the homepage that could be dynamically created through a web form. Basically anyone can upload a photo, a caption and a link to the website/story corresponding to the headline/photo. When […]

“what the heck’s with geck?” continued… I received valuable feedback on my first try at a gecko. These are my changes, I reversed the color to be dark on the edges and lighter at the center, made the eyes less scary, and made the gecko skinnier with smaller back legs. On a technical note, I […]

It’s been a while……since I did a print project. I’ve been so wrapped up with learning more about CSS, website standards and doing digital illustration that I’ve almost forgotten about print design. I kicked back in gear with a project for Meadow Heights’ Worship Concert. Here are a few screen shots from the bulletin which […]

“what the heck’s with geck?” That’s what the professor said her husband told her when he heard she was calling it Gecko Mathematics. I echo that same question. But I’m going with it, for now anyway. I’ve created an emblem. It’s only about 3 quarters of the way finished. My Process:I first sketched a few […]

Korean Math ReduxI mentioned in the last post that I would be redesigning the Korean Mathematics website for a professor. I have previously done illustration for this project. First let’s see the current website design: I wanted to make the navigation easier to… you guessed it, NAVIGATE. The wording of the links were also very […]

Their current website can be found at http://agriculture.truman.edu I posted sketches of the design a month or so ago. These are screenshots of the live website.. I have the homepage done and one secondary page done. Now, the time consuming part is to create […]
Hans Baldung re-sketch
I was bored this evening, so I decided to pull out my old Anatomy book for Drawing II and draw some stuff from it. This was originally done by Hans Baldung, who is a famous Printmaker.
